I could only find a Bostitch N80SB full round head nailer in their lineup so I hope that's what you have. No it will not fire full round had nails because they are stacked at a lower angle to accomidate for the full head and material used to hold the strips together. Senco does make a full round head nail that fits their clipped head nailers but it does not list the Bostitch nailers as one they will fit into so I don't know if they will work in your gun. The Senco part number for their three inch, full round head nails for clipped head guns is K527APBK.

Try this site. It si home for your nail needs
SOURCE: Framing nailer intermittently doesn't shoot the nail.
Make sure to blow out the magazine where the nails load, make sure the spring tension on the nail clip is working properly, make sure you're not holding the clip somehow with your off hand so the clip can't feed correctly.
SOURCE: Need to know the brand of nails that work with this nailer
brand does'nt matter its the lenght and more inportant is the gauge if its shooting two nails than you are most likely using the wrong gauge example of gauges:16mm 18 mm ect. look on gun it should specify which gauge to use
SOURCE: bostitch n80sb 1 framing nail gun shoots 2 nails
I would think a part other than the magazine. I would first check the condition of the nose to make sure it is not just worn out. Also check the driver for the end being flat and the back side (toward nail)not worn excessively and lastly check the O ring on the piston. Starting with nose unplug air and look to see if oval and then bounce the tool without air and see if the piston drops from the rest position. If so that is where I would start. Let me know if something other than this and I will try and help. I have worked on quite a few of these. If I have helped you would you please rate my response accordingly. Thank you
