If this is for the internet pages, then i had the same problem the way to fix this
is to change the date on your computer
go to ur taskbar double click on the time on the bottom right
then change the date to the correct date and you should get security certificates out of date

I order items for use with a non-profit organization and have a 501C-3 tax exempt number. How can I utilize non-profit eligibility and save on tax payment

You file a request with your state of registration/incorporation to get a sales tax exemption certificate. After you receive that, submit a photocopy to the vendors to have on their file. This allows them to not charge the sales tax. Some vendors will accept ust the certificate number and expiration date, others will require you to send them a photocopy. If you paid sales tax (after the certificate was issued) you can file a request for refund from the vendor by providing proof of excemption. Your state issued certificate is valid even if you are ordering from vendors outside your own state.

I get a message that you have security certificate error, navigation blocked....and it says that your security certificate has expired or invaid. So plz help me in solving this problem i want to connect...

Please tell us your operating system (Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS X 10.8, 10.9 etc.)

In general, certificates will fail if your computers clock/date/time is incorrect. Check your settings and try again if necessary.

Sec error expired certificate

This sounds like a "Security Certificate" issue, preventing access to a secured server or website. If that is correct you wil need your security or certificate provider (vendor) to update or re-issue your certificate to allow access to this site. Usually these types of sites are Education, Government, Business-2-Business "Clouds", 3rd Partty Access apps for resellers of IT/Telephony, HR/CRM or financial. A certificate will not be hard to acquire should you have a valid reason.

Hope this helps!

Security Conncection failed

Correct the date/time on your computer.

So, if your computer thinks that it is 2008, then a web-site security-certificate, which is "certified", but only certified between 5/29/2009 and 5/29/2010, is not *YET* valid.

Either use the http feed instead of https or update your root certificates. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=f814ec0e-ee7e-435e-99f8-20b44d4531b0&displaylang=en

I am getting a message on inter net explorer to shut page down as security certificate has run out

A security certificate is just the websites seal of safe browsing so to speak. It's like their validation document to say their website is protected and safe and they are responsible for the content on the page. These certificates expire every 90 days or so and must be renewed by the webmaster. Sometimes they fall behind.
You can adjust your settings so you won't be notified.
If you click on tools, then internet options, on the security tab, lower your meter to medium. Same on the privacy tab. Then in advanced tab make sure Use SSL3.0 is checked and not 2.0. On content tab hit clear ssl state. You should be fine now.

When I click on my mail icon, I get this message: the security certificate presented by the website has expired or not yet valid.

Yes if it's a web based email server then you will have to "accept this certificate" to access your email from within your Browser.
