    have same problem, any solutions?

  • Anonymous Nov 25, 2008

Just came back from the Hyundai and they told me they would have to remove the radio and replace it for the little cost of around $400.00 and we all know that I can get a much better radio for around $200.00, so I told them no thanks.

Easy to fix, reomve the adio, open the top cover, at the back is a small black clip that gets stuck when inserting a cd incorrectly, the tray then does not lower. Gently press it, it will jump back into position. Close. all should be fine.

2011 hyundai tucson, battery is good, start relay clicks, won't start

The battery is bad. Almost any battery, unless tone dead, will read 12 Volts when there is no load attached. But put even the smallest load on it and the voltage can fall to that magic 7-8 volt range where things just stop working. If the battery is not that old, you'd best to a charging system check as well to ensure that the battery is not being discharged constantly during operation.

2006 Hyundai Tucson Car - the battery is totally drained & dead so it wouldn't open with the remote opener. Now that we used the key when the car starts to get battery power back the alarm sounds...

this is for honda acura but it also might work for you too.
Open hood ensure new battery is disconnected.
Open main fuse panel cover under hood and remove horn relay (so you don't have to listen to the horn).
Use the key to lock the drivers door.
Connect the positive battery terminal.
Connect the negative battery terminal (security system will now activate, hazards lights will flash and horn would be going off if the relay was not removed).
Use the key to unlock the drivers door.
Get in, close drivers door.
Use the key to start the engine.
Security system will deactivate.
Get out of vehicle, reinstall horn relay, replace fuse panel cover, close hood.

How do i disconnect the battery in 2007 hyundai tucson. we will be leaving it for six months.

Use a wrench to remove the negative battery wire at the battery terminal. once this is done, wrap the negative battery terminal in black electrical tape to prevent the terminal from contacting a ground. After the terminal is wrapped in electrical tape, place the terminal aside, and close the hood. (Don't let the terminal stick upwards, and cause hood closure interference).

CD stuck in 2006 Hyundia Tucson -How do you remove the CD/radio?

Answered a similar problem last week. Disconnect the negative battery cable for 10min. When you re-connect, the stero should reset and you should be able to get the CD out. If this works, will save you a lot of aggravation without having to remove the stereo. Best of luck!

In my 2005 Tucson, my 5-cd player stopped working. I push the button to load the cd's, but nothing occurs. The dealership mentioned something about 'resetting' the radio... what is this, and is it...

The only solution I've seen is to disconnect the negative battery cable for 10min. After you reconnect, the stereo should reset itself and enable you to load cd's. If this fails, either a trip to the dealer for service or to an car audio dealer for an aftermarket stereo. I hope this solves your issue and wish you all the best!
