Hi, I have had my Tesco Viewty unlocked last week. I phoned Tesco Mobile who told me to put 25 pounds on my credit. They unlocked the phone in 3 days and also gave me 150 mins of free calls to any mobile because i put more than 15 pounds on my phone. Well happy with that.

Note that you can't actually call 4455 from the phone as soon as you buy it because before you put any credit on it will just automatically redirect all calls to their top-up robot.

You can call 0870 900 4455 from any other phone to get to customer services.


Also note that I just tried to do this and they said it would take 28 DAYS!

So the solution is this, go to your nearest market and have them do it for about £5 almost instantly.

Ring your service provider (tesco) and ask them for the unlock code.

* You might have to pay a fee it depends.

Phone 4455 from your phone and select option 5 and tescos will unlock it for you. it costs 25 pounds belive me its the cheaps most hassle free way its ever going to get done...

my problem is that i cant down load some files it says unsupported all the time do i need a flash player in my phone , some one please advise
