Anyone have the know-how to turn this player on. PLEASE!!

If it is a brand new player, then make sure the hold button is taken off the on position, making the device unlocked. Then try turning it on.

SOURCE: my mp3 player doesn't player
Try voidMP3FM from www.drvoid.com I have a NW-E005 but the web site says the program supports the NW-E002 as well. Have used this program from day one and have never loaded sonic stage. Heard lots of complaints about it. Hope this helps.

Press and hold the search/menu button for half a second in stop mode. The menu screen is displayed. Rotate the shuttle switch to select "Advanced Menu" > and press the play/stop button to confirm. Rotate the shuttle switch to select "Format" and press the play/stop button to confirm. Rotate the shuttle switch to select "OK" and press the play/stop button to confirm. "Formatting..." blinks and start formatting. When formatting is complete "complete" is displayed.
This is how i get rid of the problem "Format Error".
