G'day, I have a simplicity express ride on mower that was running when I got it, I've put a new battery in it, new spark plug, new fuel filter and new fuel lines. Last time I used it was running great

that video sounded like a very low battery, and, if you know your not getting spark, check the plug wires for continuity, and that there are good connection to spark plugs, once you get spark, then make sure you are getting fuel

heat the spark plug for a few minutes then put back in the engine. sometimes works when you not used engine in a long time. it will take a good few goes to get the old fuel out of the carb, the heat helps burn old fuel.

My Toro model 20018 won't start. I've changed the plug, air filter and put in fresh gas. Doesn't seem to be getting any spark.

Check if there is spark. Take out the spark plug again and hold against cylinder head with screwdriver. Start motor as usual, see if there is spark on plug when starting. if there is no spark replace ignition module .The next thing is there fuel getting to engine. My guess is that you have a plugged carb. jet. Clean out and reassemble. Be careful not to lose the small parts. Good luck

My Toro CCR 2450 GTS Snowthrower loses power after it gets warmed up. New spark plug and fresh gas with proper oil mix. Why?

Mine does same. Wait a half hour, restart, runs good for 20 minutes and slows again. Just had it in for a tune up. Machine is only three years old.

What is wrong with a Toro GTS5 that starts well but dies 5-10 seconds later. I have changed the spark plug, air filter and oil. New gas too. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I had a similar problem. I'll bet I took off the carb. 5 - 6 times and cleaned it with no success. Very fustrating! One time while checking the fuel level I accidently left off the gas cap, I started it and while running I put the gas cap back on and started to mow and about 10 seconds it died. I thought could'nt be! So I loosened the cap, restarted and it kept running. Any way the small vent hole was plugged. Thats my story!. Good luck.

My toro started ran for 5 minutes and died...like it ran out gas

It sounds like it is time to replace the ignition module from what you are saying. The motor heats up and the electrical in the module open up.
I would check the spark plug as well and stay away from resistor type plugs.

Toro powerlite snowblower sputters out after 10-15 minutes

I would change the spark plug and be sure to gap it as per your owner's manual. I would also clean or change the air filter. I would also use only high test gas and the oil recommended by the manufacturer. good luck.

Engine will not stay running

Hi

When the engine stops check the spark at the spark plug.Check compression(remove the spark plug and ground the plug wire on the engine, seal the plug hole with your thumb.Operate the starter. If the compression preasure blows your thumb off the hole, the compression is adequate for the engine to run.Now priming the engine(put some gas into the spark plug hole, back the spark plug and try to start the engine.Let me know. savumihai71 regards
