Question about Televison & Video
I have a Zenith DVC2515 DVD player and the movies have started to freeze up as they are playing. If I unplug the DVD and wait 5 seconds and plug it back in, I can start at the beginning of the movie and select the proper scene, but it will to freeze later on. I also have to unplug the dvd just to get it to turn on. This has happened with the last three movies from Blockbuster. Any ideas? player freezes in mid movie and then skips to the next channel then to the end.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Player suddenly freezes
Try running a dvd cleaner through it first, before trying anything else (the type that looks like a DVD with a brush underneath).
The regular DVD might have been a fluke (scratches, rental?, burned dvd?)
Was there anything special about the new Blu-Ray Disc - what was the tile? On certain titles, you may need the firmware upgrade found at:

I have a K715 that was having the same problem. The "line select" had been switched from "in" instead of "out". Once I switched it back to "out", the player worked normal.

is ur dvd player in an inclosed area because they need air and some more than others. is the device getting hot to the tuch. if it is then put somthing under the corners of the dvd player to raise it up. this should stop it from over heating. also try cleaning it. please rate my suggestion. thanks
