There is a bad connection and you will need to look to see where the bad connection is comming from exactly , and if it can be soldered or repaired ( maybe a plug or a wire loose)it might even be a wire strip that is bad , but it will have to be opened to find out

not real clear what you have: if you have a small picture in upper corner look in menu for PIP and with remote turn it off(picture in picture will do that)

If not let me have a better description of what it is doing.

Picture goes white. We can squeeze the TV in the upper left corner and picture will return, however, it will go to white again later or instantly the moment we release our grip from the tv.

It sounds like the ribbon cable to the T-Con board came loose. That board sits at the top/middle of the set. If your going to do the work then take your time a be very careful in that area. Also check the other two going into the LCD display panel. I've enclosed a pix of a t-con board for reference.

Sharp LC37D44U Power LED was flashing green. TV would turn on, channel indicator shows in upper right corner, sound good, but screen would be black. Channel indicator disappears but screen is still...

I had the same problem. all the service reset would only make the display come on for a few second with no "k" on the screen - only the channel would show up. I purchased a complete set of board for the lcd on ebay, and started swapping them one by one. The inverter boards were the culpret. Tele working 100% since that board swap.

I have a Sony Bravia XBR 46". It is 18 months old. The left 20% of the picture is fine, but the right 80% flickers in horizontal bands. Pushing back lightly on the upper right corner of the bezel and...

Please make sure that the connections are secure.

If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.

Please try connecting the TV to a different wall outlet and check if that helps.

Philips 23PF9966/37 color problem!

Most likely you can adjust it in the Service Alignment Mode (SAM).

Press 062596 followed by the STATUS button (upper left). Navigate to "White Tone", press the right key to enter and select "Normal" mode. Set the colors:

Red = 135, Green = 128, Blue = 133.

The "Cool" and "Warm" menus are deltas from the "Normal" settings:

COOL: R -3, G -1, B 5
WARM: R 2, G -3, B -13

Press the "MENU" button to return to the main menu, then the "Power" button to turn the TV off.

Sound but no picture.

Ouch.

If this is a large plasma TV, more than likely your Y-sustainer board went out. Sometimes this failure is accompanied by a loud pop and/or very distorted and discolored image.

This is one of the more expensive repairs as it is recommended to replace both the Z-sustainer when the Y-sustainer is replaced.

Try to replace the Logic Scan board on the upper left side of your tv. The part no. is printed on the board and you can order it from Panasonic's Website. Also check the Service Manual for the part description and part no.
