Question about Sharp R-354 Microwave Oven
The display does not light up at all. The microwave does work, though. In the instruction book it says to replace the fuse in the troubleshooting section but the power is on so it can't be the fuse. Please can you help? Janice
In most cases the displays are protected by a low value resistor which could have burned out. First someone needs to determine if the display is getting the proper voltage. If it is and still does not work you need a display. If it isn't getting any power follow the circuit back to the power supply and you'll probably find an open resistor or micro fuse (which looks like a resistor).
