Hi,

Best way to probably cause interference on his cameras would be to use a wireless tv sender gadget from X10 that runs $49.95.

Install it on your TV set and aim the transmitter at his cameras. The wireless signal will cause him some real grief. What can he do to you about it with law enforcement? I don't really know, but fair is fair and you can do all this legally without breaking any laws.

As a premises security system installer I always take into consider the potential interference from things like florescent lighting to cordless phones and microwave ovens. These wireless TV senders simply send the signal you are watching on your TV through your home to a receiver on the same frequency. Video Cameras even when wired to a system, are severely affected by these types of devices.

You can find the X10 product here.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it probably is. If you should be questioned about it explain your situation to authorities. You're not breaking any laws.

I would strongly suggest you speak with this person and ask them to stop what they are doing before resorting to fighting back. And, you may be able to go to court and get a restraining order. But, you will need to collect a lot of evidence with video cameras of your own capturing what he is doing with his cameras. Taking sensible action first, asking Law Enforcement for help and taking their advice is always the best way to solve these problems. Use the wireless tv sender at your own risk and only after exhausting all other remedies.

Regards,
Worldvet

MY PHONE WAS STOLEN

Report with your IMEI code to the service provider or it is best to lodge a complaint - FIR - to the CYBER CELL of the Police Dept. that is in your area.
You will need to produce doccuments to prove your ownership so that the phone be traced.

No picture on my tv from cctv camera

it is neither clear what sort of output your cctv cameras produce, nor what sort of input your dvr accepts. but, for the most part, dvrs record digital tv signals, whereas cctv cameras output analogue signals. so, even though you may be able to plug a cctv camera "straight" into a tv via a scart connector, it is unlikely that any scart connectors on a dvr have the necessary circuitry to accept such signals.

I have a Sonny DSC T1 and the screen has gone black.. It still shows some camera info in white but there is no picture view just a black screen. can you help?

Your Sony T1 is one of those camers made with bad CCDs. That is the image sensor has known defect after production and market launch. Instead of recall their products, Sony offer owners to send/bring in their camera for CCD replacement without service/parts charge. Go to Sony web site to find a Sony authorized service centre nearest to wher you live, phone them up to confirm free service. You may either mail in or bring it to them in person. As far as I know, Sony will reimburse the shipping cost to you as well as sending the fixed camera for free.
Take a look of a third party comment/information regarding the bad CCDs by clicking here before taking further action. It didn't show black screen as a symptom, but I Got mine fixed for free with the black screen, I rather say very, very dark screen.
