Question about Ricoh Office Equipment & Supplies

Aficio 2035 Anybody know where I can get a manual for this multi-function copier? I have the 2035S/ P model, and am trying to figure out how to set up the scanner feature in a peer-to-peer network. Thanks in advance for any help. Note, the Ricoh website was of no help.

    First, many thanks for your response Bubbabear. I started to do what you said, but under File Transfer there are only 2 options, "SMTP Server Name" and "Delivery Options", with the latter off. No "Domain" selection under File Transfer. Looking around...

    No luck. I put in the Domain like you said, but under Step 8 (select file), there is no option. This being under the Key OP/ Address Mngmnt/ New Program. I select the New Program Button, and after that here are my choices:

    Name
    User Code
    E-Mail
    Group

    I am able to put a Name in for this "New Program", but I browsed around everywhere within the Key OP group, to no avail. If your free and have any more suggestions, I appreciate any more help. Thanks again. BTW, I printed out the configuration page, and can send/ drop that (dropio is what I use) that printout to you.- ashtro

Can't give you the service manual due to legal reasons but you can check on copytech.com and see if you can get one one there. The service doesn't really tell you how to do it either so I can tell you how to do it:

1) Press user tools/counter.
2) Press file transfer.
3) Enter the workgroup name under domain.
4) Exit out to go to Key OP tools.
5) Look for address book management.
6) Select new program.
7) Give it name (name of person or computer)
8) Select File.
9) Select Browse

If it worked you should see computers displayed on the screen. If you don't see any, follow the troubleshooting suggestions below:

For you workstations:

1) Make sure you have a shared folder on each computer that allows for access to all users (or everyone).
2) Each computer needs to be accessed by a user id and password. You will need to type them into the copier.
3) No computer should have any firewalls turned on. Firewall control must be done on the router. Windows Firewall software needs to be disabled from each workstation. You may need to get into administration settings of each workstation to disable it permanently.
4) Certain versions of Norton sottware can block communication regardless or weather or not the firewall is on or not. If that's the case it will have to be disabled to get to work.
5) File and printer sharing should be turned on each workstation.

I do these for customers on a regular basis. I had to find a lot of this out on my own. Hopefully this will help you out.

    My bad.  Go to interface option under user tools/options.  It's the screen with the IP address.  Press the next button on the screen.  Insert the domain name in there.

According with the Service manual if in the control panel don't show any places or any door, change the switches on the front cover area and the switches of the fuser area.

Hello!
Look in to the touch panel, at the down left corner and you will see it.
You have 2 arrows. One for left to brighten and one for the right to darken.

Ricoh Aficio 2035 wont duplex, displays error message error: Duplex unit is not set. Set it properly


there is a sw on the duplex unit that tells the copier it is closed my guess is that its broke

What is error code SC548 on RICOH Aficio 2035/2045 machine. Functional problem within the copier. How do i reset the copier to operate normal?


SC548 means the machine it not seeing the fuser unit. Open the Right side and front doors. Check the fuser unit to see if it is mounted properly.
There is some connection on the fuser module not making good contact. Reseat the fuser and power the machine off and on.
If you need to reset. Press Clear all, 107 and hold the pink button until you cee copy sp page displayed. Press copy sp, then while on that page turn the machine off and back on.

HOW TO FACTORY RESET THE SETTINGS OF AFFICIO 2035 E


Hello sir; You have to print out SMC list before you clear all memory then to reset, the procedure as follow;
1, press "clear mode", "107".then hold down "clear/stop" key.
2 enter 5990 press enter.
3, touch on screen "execute".
after print out go backto clear memory.
4, enter 5801-1
5, follow the list to reset each item.
