I left the stemmer on and all the water was gone and the light went wont turn on now. is it finished?

Possibility is that the coil burned up or a thermal fuse opened. If it was a thermostat, it would have reset. Replace it.

Hi this monitor dont turn on.and the one of fuses on main board was broke i want to send me electronic design of sony pvm-9l2/5 monitor. thanks a lot.

Try and replace the fuse that was found damaged. if the fuse blows out again there are errors in the main power supply whcih is the SMPS unit.
Check this link for some tips.

Hi there could anyone tell me why my tv is not turning on with the power button but there is power going through the tv as it is making a beeping noise ???????????????

you have not mentioned the brand, but it probably doesnt matter as i will take a guess and say that power is available on the house side of the transformer. But on the TV set side it is interrupted. Some TV's of the portable type have an alarm that indicates that power has failed on the TV side and this may be caused by a fuse in the power unit. Check for a fuse ( make sure set is off when you open it to check) If the fuse is absent or intact then the problem is further up the line on the main board and will need technical intervention as there are no servicable parts for average joe to fix.

Thanks for using FIXYA

Doesn't turn on remotely or manually,

If this is a standard tv, then there are two bad caps. Near the powerline regulator on either side. Look for a 160volt 1MF cap and on the other end a 160volt 4.7MF cap. I don't know the particular model, but you will be searching the horizontal deflection. Is the fuse good? If not you will have to replace the horizontal transistor and look for two, 2 watt resisors at 12ohms and a new fuse as well. Can you do it?

My Polaroid TLU-01541CU flat screen has died. I have tried replacing the fuse in the plug, but this didn't work. Has anybody got any ideas? BJY

get your self a little multimeter. and do a test on the fuse. it maybe the fuses that you are using are faulty???????. just put the probes to either end of the fuse if you dont get a reading. the fuse is faulty. if the fuse is ok .unplug from the wall.and take off the back.and you will see where the mains cable is plugged into . if its soldered? do the same test as you did for the fuse this is called continity test if you get a reading on both cables. then you know that the mains input is ok.failing that. it may be the switch if you test that thats the problem i had that problem with a tv the power was going into the switch but the other end dead so the problem was the switch. i hope this has helped you ?????????.suspect the switch

Tv runs on 110 but not 12volt

There is a fuse on the DC power line for AC/DC sets and you can start by making sure it isn't blown. The fuse may be in the cigarette lighter plug itself, or inside the TV. If you find the fuse blown, replace it with one of the same value and try it again. The fuses sometimes do go for no good reason. If there is some internal trouble with the TV, the fuse will go again and you'll know for sure.

No picture or sound on tv

This sounds like a power supply problem. Check for a blown fuse in the unit. If there is no blown fuse then the power supply might have a shorted or open component in it. Check for the blown fuse first if the fuse is not blown or it can not be fixed by changing the fuse then the next culprit is the power supply, you will have to have a qualified TV technician do this.

I hope this helps
Thank you

Sanyo 32inch CRT TV Model 3275U = NO POWER

The popping sound you heard is the relay going to ocsillate but can't continue. It is unlikely to be just a fuse since as you posted, the red light is lit. Other than a reset (unplug for some time/hours), there is no user easy diagnosis/repair. DIY (do-it-yourself) would require at least some familiarity with electronic components and circuitry, use of a DVM and a soldering iron and access to a service manual or at the very least a schematic diagram with voltage readings. Perhaps it would be to your advantage to seek the services of a qualified professional to save you time and effort.
