Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Usually when a disk doesnt load there is a problem with the lense. It could mean a few different things. First lets start off with the basic.
Is your lense dirty? What you should do is simply clean the lense with a disk cleaner from any game store and make sure your games are clean as well. You can use a mild amount of windex with a paper towel. Clean the disk from the center out in straight lines.
Is your system overheating? If your system is over heating you will not hear the game spinning during start. To avoid possible overheating simply purchase a cooling dock from any game store and keep your system in a well ventalated room.
Lastly are you still under warranty? If your game system is not fixed with the suggestions above, you may have internal damage that cannot be repaired yourself. Simply call Sony and see if you are still under warranty. They will send you a free replacement or a voucher to purchase one for free. The number for Sony is usually listed on the back of any video game instructional booklet.
If you are not under a warranty, I wouldn't recommend getting it fixed. Sometimes it is cheaper to replace the system, than it is to fix it.
Good Luck with your system and Happy Gaming.

to do when your Wii Has problems with reading disks and you have
tried cleaning the disk.
does not mean your Disk Drive needs replacing more often than not it
just needs the laser to be readjusted.
can send this off to Nintendo if your still in warranty because it is
included in there free fixes so they will do the collecting for you,
fix it and return the Wii to you, all for free, but it will take 4-6
you are out of warranty its the same process as above but its $150 in
a new Disk drive would cost around $75 for a compatible one and you
may need some one to fit it at a cost as well.
I recommend is a Wii
Repair Guide that will show you the simple steps yourself, you
will be up and running again in less than an hour and the cost is far
less than option 2 & 3
