Hi there, I have the same problem. I'm trying to connect it to my HT-XT35 which is almost brandnew but still does not work.

    Cheers

I just bought and installed the Samsung S6 ~TV with the HT-T715 5.1 Surround and got the SWA-4000 with it to link the back speakers.

Im having the exact same problem though - they wont link! Just tries to and then hits stand by!

    i have the same problem.

The Wireless go in stand by after 10 secods

    Same thing here too.
Wireless goes into standby after 10 seconds.
The only thing I can find is, if there is no true surround sound then the speakers won't come on. They only turn on when there is actual surround sound being emitted.
Would be nice to have sound from the back speakers for watching tv even if it isn't surround sound. Just regular sound would be fine.

Turn the main dvd player off, and press 0,1,3,5 on your remote, then turn on the player and the rear wireless receiver at as close to the same time as you can. should then light up the blue "link" light permanently.

I had the same problem, but I review the flat wire connection of the wifi antenna located inside of the main DVD player. Surprise!!! That flat wire was not well connected. So I disconnected it and then connected it again and it works perfectly now. I can tell you this sound is awesome!!!

I had the same problem and it seemed to be because of the wireless chip you insert behind the main unit. It doesn't fit well but the rear speakers had a fine connection when the chip was held in just the right position. I simply taped in place.

My samsung dvd player keeps flashing RCHK

If it's the home theatre system i think it is that error refers to the rear speakers in which the wireless connection is either unstable or not working at all. make sure to give more info when asking for help.

Hi I just set up Samsung SWA-4000 and for some reason I cant get it to link up it says Rear Check on the receiver and then the module goes to stand by

Hi,

This means that its lost the connection to the wireless transmitter, the error means Rear CHK or check hence RCHK. Seems that if the unit is not quite in line of sight the connection can be flaky. I would check the positioning of the reciever. Try moving it, see if you cant get a better connection.

I'm having problems getting my swa-4000 system to work tried the code and holding down the reset button i have an ht-x715t system and the tx card is in right any idea's thanks

With the home theater system off, press the 0-1-3-5 buttons in that order on the home theater's remote control.

Power on the home theater system.

With the wireless module on, press the [ID SET] button on the back of the wireless module for five seconds.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

Hope this helps!

Just connected the SWA-4000 wireless amplified to my samsung ht-z310 - the readout on the display is "Rear Chk" there is no sound from the rear speakers- any help is appreciated

swa-4000 wireless module isn't compatible with htz310. You need to buy Samsung's swa-3000 to work with your htz310. I had the same problem. It tells you in your owners manual under conectivity where it explains about hooking up a wireless module(pg.55-60). I hope this helps.

Samsung SWA-4000 Wireless connection problem - Not connecting with main unit

I have had the same problem with the wireless unit and thought the same, it didn't work. The way to fix this is simple. You need to do the 0, 1, 3, 5 on the remote and turn on the home theatre system on the main switch on the front panel (as I was doing this on the remote, and it was failing). The blue light should then stay illuminated. If not just switch the main on/off button again, and it shoud work.

SWA-4000 doesn't adquire signal of HT-TX500 Home Theather

I was having poor audio from the back speakers and didn't even know it; intermittently I'd hear them jump in volume, so myself being a little adventurous, decided to push the ID set button on the back, totally losing my ilnk... after digging and playing, I figured it out:
1.) Turn off the Head (main) Unit 2.) Power on the wireless receiver, being sure it is away from routers, other BT devices, etc. 3.) Push the "ID Set" button on the back of the wireless device and hold it until the lights on its front panel flash. 4.) Point the system's remote control at the Head Unit and punch in 0135.  Its light should turn from red to blue. 5.) Perform step 3 again. 6.) Power on the head unit.
Should link up.
Might be some redundancy there, but it works :)
Also I found that after a few cycles It seemed to work better (perhaps cycled to a better channel?)
