No image input and pc makes weird sounds on start up

Hey guys, please help me out on this. For some reason, my pc wont start up anymore. When I press the power button I get a different sound than normally. Now I hear one long tone and then 2 short ones. After that, I can see the floppy drive running some test, like normally, but nothing else happens. There isnt even any HD activity.

Solutions are well appreciated. I need my pc working again for my graduation!!! Thank you

Q: Can you access the BIOS at all?

Check that the RAM is securly in and all cables are too.

Worst case scenario: Processor or RAM is Fried

Best case: just a cable loose.

Also, If you recently added some new hardware, make sure your PSU can support it.

Hi, I have Commell LV-672 MB and I have weird sound problems, its buzzing and making weird sounds when I dont do anything (listen music or whatnot). same is when I use the mic, that weird sound is like...

Open up your computer the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer as is the microphone input
to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plugs make sure the connections are good
or you might have to clean the dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your sound card dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer
hope this helps
