If your HP Printer is connected to the computer it should be able to save the scanned images to your computer when you start the scanner using the scanner icon on your computer. The the way is to save the images to your memory card and transfer them to your computer using a memory card reader, then you can email these images as a file attachment in your emails.
better change the glass of your scanner to avoid this problem in thw future and one more thing when ever you are not using the scanner put a soft cloth over glass and cover it or put a A4 size paper it will avoid dust and scratch try this
On your printer options menu, choose advanced options and from there you'll be able to size the picture to whatever size you wish. Now there is a question of resolution, when you scan the picture choose the hihgest resolution you can otherwise the picture will come out all pixelated. Good luck, Dana
connect ur printer to ur computer and then try to scan any document or plug in any memory card and then press scan .it will ask u to save the file after scanning, save it on computer. ur issue will be resolved
go to my computer and like c:// drive and d:// drive you will get another option like memory card or e:// drive.
click on it and choose transfer.
also the better way would be to connect your device with a memory card and then transfer the pictures directly rather than usinh Printer for transferring as the printer does not has virtula memory to save and then transfer the pictures.
Here are some instructions from the Lexmark X63 which was similar to the X125.
The Lexmark X63 uses a sheet fed scanner, intended to scan 8 1/2 x11 inch paper.
To scan a document between 5 1/2 inches and 8 3/4 inches wide, center the document between the paper feed guides leading into the scanner and make sure the document is held straight,. Do not bend the document as it is fed into the scanner.
To scan photos or pictures that are 5 1/2 inches wide or smaller, you will need to use a flatbed scanner, or "mat" the image into a regular letter-size paper and scan the entire page. When the scan process is complete, crop out the picture using the AUTO CROP option in the Scan and Copy Control program or the photo-editing software.
Plug a scanner into your pc,usually by usb cable. Follow all instructions included with scanner including installing drivers (software) For flatbed scanners you would lay your picture on the scanner glass, close the top and push "scan" either on the scanner or in the software provided with your scanner. The software you will install will allow you to pick the location of where the pictures will be saved to. On the other hand,if the pictures are still in your camera, you can just transfer them to your pc. via a usb cable.
