Kenmore 100.85081400 no heat

check the thermal fuse on the blower housing if its open some units wont heat, also check the heating element if heated electrically,or the ignitor on gas fired units,by the number you provided i believe you meant its a 110.85081400 instead of the 100.85081400 (and is electrically heated) you provided which is produced by whirlpool for sears (kenmore) also there is a control board located inside behind the control panel that may be a culprit, but check the first two things i suggested at the top

Dryer will not fire and if it does only burns for a minute or two Kenmore Mod. # 110c72622101

when you say fire, is it the coil lighting up, or actual gas burner fire? if its just the element from the ignitor glowing your going to need to replace the gas valve coils, they aren't releasing the gas, if its actually lighting, then your going to have a thermostat problem, thats the little disc's at the rear of that machine that regulate when the dryer is to open or close the heat ,, heres how you check them once the machine is unplugged Set your multimeter to the R X 1 setting. Take each of your meter's probes and touch one to each terminal. You are testing for continuity, and you should receive a reading of either zero or infinity. At room temperature, testing the thermostat should produce a reading of zero. But if a thermostat is tested when it is heated to its limit, a reading of infinity should be produced. be sure and unclip the wires and note where each one goes prior to testing

Have a Kenmore Elite dryer and the heating coils will not light I have 240 volts coming into the coils however tthey still wont light is it the themostates that are bad

you can bypass the thermal fuse, to see if it is bad. The fuse is a fire prevention safety feature so once it is determined bad disconnect the wires and replace before using.

Kenmore gas dryer model 110 97576200 will not heat up

WHERE IS THE LINT SCREEN ON YOUR DRYER? ON TOP OF THE DRYER? IF SO, UNPLUG DRYER. REMOVE THE PANEL IN THE BACK, HAS NINE SCREWS(1/4 NUT DRIVER). THE FUSE IS A SKINNY TWO TERMINAL DOWN NEAR THE BOTTOM. USE AN OHM METER TO CHECK. IF NO READING, THE FUSE IS BAD, REPLACE AND HOPE NOTHING ELSE LIKE THE IGNITOR IS BAD TOO. GOOD LUCK...

You have a bad thermal fuse , usually caused by lint blockage from the filter or vent hose .
