A couple of things can cause this, loss of drum rotation (or loss of the sense of drum rotation) or loss of reel pulses. Remove the casette door and see if the drum spins when you try to load a tape. If not, you have a bad drum. No easy fixes for this problem, sorry!

The dcr-trv250 has to common problems that apply to your camcorder. Bad iris or bad ccd imager. I've seen about a 100 of each lately. Look into the lens while you turn the power off then back on into camera mode. You will be able to see the iris open. If you don't see it open then it's most likely bad. I got the tape to eject by removing the battery from the camcorder, putting it back on so that the tape would go back inside the camera. Then I had the tape eject again. Several times the tape would not be ejected but I repeated my steps until the camera released the tape.
Flashing eject sign error appears when camcorder got problem in its mechanism, please put another tape and check. Remove battery from camcorder for couple of minutes, put battery back and try. Also observe does tape reels turns reverse and forward when tape loaded in mechanism. If problem still exist, qualified camera tech will fix it because it is not user level repair.
dear you need nt worry for that , i want to ask u between these 9 year how many time does you get your camcorder serviced ...like you go for bike or car.
so, i would like to tell u that the symptoms which you are telling are related to the problem in tape path of the camcorder ,nothing more then that ,audio breaks and video glitches are their which is the problem, you can contact me for any kind of further help.
take your camcorder to near by service centre as it would nt be possible for u to align the tape path as we need CRO and other jigs and tools for aligning the tape path .
