I used Windows to "Safely Remove Device" and when I unplugged the FL100 the screen still had USB connected on the display. I removed the battery to shut it off and cannot get it to power on again. I tried 3 different new batteries, but no luck.

When i safely removed my MP3 from my computer after charging it, i try to turn it on and it won't turn on.

Either the battery pack is dead, or ribbon cable connections between battery and circuit board or usb to circuit board is bad.

2. Hard Drive probably got disconnected from the FPC cable, you might need to open the player to fix this issue

Try the reset button which is pin-sized hole on bottom right when looking at the HD-400. You will need paper-clip to press it.
