this is an easy one, your hard drive has failed this is why it does not show up, I am suprised that you dont hear clicking noise when trying to access the drive. if you have another drive around try to connect that one just to see if you give different error message but I am %100 you have a failed drive, I used to work at gateway/Quanta and have serviced thousands of machines with the same problem, good luck
for sending text messages : 1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct 2. call to your network operator customer care 3. request the message center number... 4.note it down 5. go to message settings>message center number 6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
Quite often you may have to do the removal and restart your PC. Once you have done that, check your registry to make sure you have removed any traces of flashplayer. Before you edit your registry, make sure you back it up first. Should something go awry, you can go back and recover to the back up registry file. Also make sure you do one product removal at a time and check that the reinstall removed all pieces.
Operation failed" is an error message that
occurs when the phone has got a problem with it's GDFS. Your phone
sounds like it's very poorly. You say you've tried a master reset? Can
you tell me if that was reset settings or reset all? I had the same
error message on my k850i when trying to get into my SMS inbox. A full
master reset resolved it.Can I also
ask that you remove the memory stick when you try a full reset and don't
put it back in until you've tried the phone again? You cannot get viruses on these phones, so we can safely rule that out.
Is it a pre-loaded card - or one you add patterns to? If its one you add patterns to, make sure the pattern isn't too large for the machine. EG if machine does 4"x4" and you've loaded a 5"x7" pattern, try down-sizing the pattern/ breaking it up into smaller sections to load & sew
Does the same error occur if you launch a scan from the computer? What OS do you have? Vista only has a basic driver available and does not support the scanner buttons. (You can launch the scans from a number of options: third-party software, Windows Fax and Scan (new scan), Microsoft Paint (File > Import from Scanner or Camera > New Scan) and Windows Photo Gallery.)
If the error occurs when you launch the scan from the computer, try a new data cable and different USB ports. Try a direct USB connection if you use a hub. Then check your USB ports and the drivers for the USB. (For Windows, look in the Device Manager. Start > Control Panel > System > Device Manager (exact directions will depend on the OS).
The HP Photo and Imaging software requires you to set the default scan destinations in the software before you can use the buttons on the scanner (for those OS/driver versions that support the feature). Always open the software and scan from the computer to see what the defaults will be. Each version of HP's imaging software set up these buttons differently; the help option is useful. Try Scan > Scan settings to find where to set the color and black & white destinations.
I hope this helps. If you add a comment with your OS and whether the computer can launch a scan, I'll provide additional help if I can.
Cindy Wells (who inherited a scanner when a USB hub failure aggravated the original user into buying a new scanner thinking it was a scanner problem.)
Clearly it was something on your back up that made it crash the first time. Next time you restore it from the apple store don't reinstal your back up. Best bet is to start over. I've had that happen to me a few times, and it was an app that I installed that crashed.
