Jvc ks-fx7 42r, i'm having problems finding the reset button 3 please could you help me.

if there is a reset switch, it will either be a pencil tip sized indentation (unmarked) on the face or behind a small hole on the subpanel (the part the face is attached to). you can also reset the deck by disconnecting power to the radio for a few seconds. you can do this by disconnecting the battery if you can't get to the back of the radio.

Everything is hooked up fine. the amp has power but no sound. I opened the amp and nothing looks burnt out.

Try you sub(s) on another amp...if they play off of it then its either your speaker outputs off of the amp or your rcas or wire from your radio are bad.

JVC KD-G200 won't power up any more.

Have you checked the fuse-box to make sure that you didn't blow the fuse for the radio? Also try removing the radio and checking the wiring to ensure that it is tight. There is also a fuse on the back of most radios to check!!

Using an external mp3 player on my JVC KD-LX111

You could try using an FM transmitter which plugs into the earphone jack on your Mp3 player, then all you have to do is tune the radio to pick up the transmitters frequency.
