Question about Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
I have a inspiron e1505 ,the problem "battery not dected" comes up
When you get this the battery is usually faulty, if you get one, try a replacement battery.
If it gives you same message with a replacement battery, then there is a broken circuit in the battery slot contacts.

I see that a lot of these solution post are old so I hope a more up to date solution will benefit you guys. My laptop says the exact same thing at the exact moment and has said it before. I replaced the battery and the problem went completely away! However, I didn't have enough "funds" to buy a battery from the Dell factory itself so I bought a cheap one from Ebay XD! It worked perfectly fine the only problem with the cheap battery is that It has a 1 year warranty and in reality it only last 4 to 6 months. So, my solution is that if you do have the funds do not go with the cheap battery. The battery from dell will run you at least $200,but in my opinion it is worth it. The cheap battery last for the moment, but you will, in a short period of time, have to buy a new one!
