Apple ipod touch 8GB For got password

1. Hold down Sleep/Wake button and Home button together, until the iPod touch powers off. Once the iPod touch turns on again, let go of the Sleep/Wake button about 1 or 2 seconds later, still holding the Home button. Once plugged in to your computer, iTunes will recognize the device is in Recovery Mode. You can now restore which will set the iPod touch back to factory defaults, thus removing the passcode.

2. Open up iLiberty+ and other the Other Tools tab select Enter DFU Mode. Your iPod touch will be recognized as in Recovery Mode by iTunes once you plug it in, at which point you can restore through iTunes. This will wipe the passcode as you're setting the device back to factory defaults.

3. Open up ZiPhone and select Prepare for Upgrade. You're iPod touch needs to be plugged in to your computer before doing so, and once you select that option iTunes will recognize that your device is in recovery mode. You can now restore through iTunes which sets the device back to factory default thus removing the passcode.

My itouch is disabled how do i unlock it

Plug the iPod touch into the computer that it was last synced with.

Once iTunes recognizes the iPod you should be able to unlock it with your password.

If you do not remember your password or you still cannot unlock the iPod, then you should try to restore the iPod.

To restore the iPod:
1) Turn the iPod off.
2) Hold down the Home button and connect the iPod to the computer it was last synced with.
3) Continue to hold the Home button until the iTunes symbol appears on the iPod's screen. The iPod is now in recovery mode.
4) After iTunes has recognized that the iPod is in recovery mode, follow iTunes instructions and restore the iPod.

If restoring the iPod doesn't work, then you will need to call Apple customer support.

When i turn on my ipod touch it just says connect to itunes when i do nothing happens cant access anything.

you have a software cooruption. the only way to fix this is to do a restore. try plugging it into itunes and see what happens. if itunes recognizes the ipod it will tell you to restore it. if itunes does not recognize the ipod you need to unplug the ipod and turn it completely off. then you need to plug the ipod while holding the home button down until itunes recognizes the ipod and then it will tell you to restore it.

On the ipod touch the itunes icon comes out and their is a usb cable with an arow pointing to the itunes icon. what does it mean and how can i fix it if i cant plug it into a computer?

Plug it into your comp. iTunes should recognize that it's corrupt. From there, it should attempt to restore the iPod. This wipes the whole thing, and restores it to its original format. Good luck!

Use the cable included with your iPod touch to connect the device with your computer. Plug the fat end into your iPod touch and the longer end into your computer.

Fimware file on ipod

You will likely need to restore you iPod to its factory configuration. Dock the iPod (or plug in the cable) and let iTunes mount and sync the device. Once finished, there is an option in iTunes to Restore. Run this, follow the directions. After restoring, allow iTunes to re-sync your media to the device.
