Re: repair

If you're still under warranty, and you havn't opened it up to void it, then call MS - 1-800-4-MY-XBOX (1-800-469-9269) . If you want to have a go at it yourself, this site has some tutorials - This one is for an XBOX repair guide: If you're out of warranty I would suggest to call MS and pay the 50-100 $ they ask for, or buy a new one. Finding someone to service it other tan MS will be difficult, yet possible. You can get all the replacement parts on the net, so the only thing left is to find somebody that can work on it. Read the answer I posted to your other question. I don't think you should pay a cent for your specific repair, but if you want to start playing again... Good luck

Issue with xbox one controller : New xbox one controller (day one edition) left analog stick misaligned . Xbox one has not made a year yet from its release , can i return the controller for repair or

It sounds like the same bugs in the system that the old Xbox, and the 360 had to deal with. They use to tell you not to press a button while the game loaded, or the game will think that the button is at (0). I would contact Microsoft and ask them what you should do directly. This issue could be cause for opening a recall on the controllers. Good luck.

How to fix rrod on Xbox 360. I took it apart

That wasnt a good idea to take it apart, it voids the warranty policy. I suggest in the future to call the company. You can not fix the (R)ed-(R)ing-(O)f-(D)eath. The red ring of death is just a red light that tells you your xbox has failed to power up or has malfunctioned. This is usually the cause of a system burn out, which means your xbox is damaged from overheating. So your problem isnt the red ring, its the other hardware parts that needs repair. The red ring just tells you something is wrong and your xbox is about to be on the dead line. so next time you get an xbox, play it for a less amount of time, keep it dusted and not in a air tight place like a shelf with books, and dont leave it standing up, put the xbox on its flat side. I know you can have it standing up, they say, but it prevents better air ventilation from flowing correctly thru the console. and keep in mind to NOT take it apart if it happens again because the xbox company will NOT repair it for certain reasons if it's found there are places that have been messed with.

Every time i sign into xbox live live the new update pops up and says would you like to download now i click it and it begins downloading then i says cannot download no network and i did what it says lke a...

What your having is a server time out issue now this can be caused by a router issue on your end or the Xbox live server is busy.

  • Connect the Xbox directly to the broadband modem.
  • Then try your download again.
Let's say none of that worked not trying to put a cart in front of a horse. What you need to do is call Xbox live 1800-4my-Xbox have them reset the gamer tag on there end then try the download again.

Good luck with the steps above if the problem persist then chances are its a hardware issue with the unit itself.

Thanks for using I hope you find this Service Very Helpful!

System error e68 ?

It means your xbox is f-ed ^^. You can try recovering it though. The only thing you can try is downloading the latest update for your xbox. found here:

Do everything said there (download file, put it on disc, etc.)

IF this would not solve your problem, then if you still got your warranty, you can always call the support and/or send the device back to get a new one.

Code error 74

Your console has the E74 error message. Your system is dead, call Microsoft cutomer support. It is covered by the warranty so repair is free.

Xbox wont find ip address

It may be that the modem/router has to be reset everytime you change devices.

This is because the modem only recognises the devices that are first attatched to it. It will connect t the modem, but it will not get internet until you reset it.

I have the same problem with mine, can be a nuisance but it's the only way it will work.

Hope this helps,

Ps, you should have got a PS3.... =)
