Question about Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook
My subscription with norton is almost finished,if i install AVG free edition would it be enough protection or should i install something along side avg for extra proction? any advice would be very helpfu, i am currently using a dell inspiron 6000 laptop and use the internet quite a lot for banking and so on,i also read that nod32 is quite good ,any thoughts please.
Both AVG and nod32 are quite good against viruses, but being only antivirus, and not a complete security suite, are both weak against other malaware threats.
If you do not want to buy a complete security suite like Nornon internet security, or Macafee security sute you can buy either AVG or nod32. Install a firewall like Zonealarm or similar to integrate the antivirus protection. AVG takes less RAM than nod 32, otherwise performances are similar.
If you are really worried about additional threats, you can integrate a free antivirus with a firewall and a good antimalaware like Spybot-S&D. This may slow down the computer a bit.
