Officejet k80xi innstall

I'm trying to install the latest k80 driver cd on my Windows XP system and am having trouble uninstalling the old drivers. I'm getting the error message" a problem occured initializing the device manager".Not even so much as the "change/remove" options appear on the old driver entries. I've tried to force an uninstall and it also has not done the trick. Many thanks for any help.

    Hi Scott,

Unfortunately, the problem remains the same in that there is no way to remove the old drivers because of the fact that the "change/remove" buttons do not apprear with the driver entries in the add/remove programs tab in Control Panel.

Is it possible to manually force uninstall this program? Thanks again.

    Scott,

You make no mention on how to remove the old drivers as there are no "change/remove" option buttons appearing under their respective entries in the Control Panel Please explain how these program drivers are to be removed.Thank you..

I have tried everything to uninstall the old HP driver for my k80 so I can install the one that's supposed to work with Windows XP and nothing will get rid of it. I have tried the uninstall utility that came with the driver, I have tried add/remove, I have tried deleting it from the device manager, I even downloaded uninstall software and it didn't even come up on their list of installed software. If anyone has the trick to get rid of this please help.

FYI: Uninstallation of printer from the Add/Remove control panel will automatically remove the drivers from the list of Device manager.

for all-in-one printers very often we must install drivers for the scanner section and some times the universal drivers under your model works fine you sure try that.

HP OfficeJet K80 driver for windows7

Try hp's website. If you don't see the windows 7 driver, try the windows vista driver.

Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "HP Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the drivers.

I have window 7 on my laptop in i have installed my cd-rom for office jet k80 but my laptop still isnt finding the printer what do i do??

Your CD may not have had the correct drivers. According to the support page, http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=61563& and pick your Win7 version, you should use the driver that Windows Update automatically finds. (If you have this set for automatically download and install updates, it will be easy.)

You should delete the drivers that you first installed, unplug the printer's USB cable from the computer and restart your computer. Then plug in the USB cable and use the Windows Update.

I hope this helps.

I have one computer which operating system is windows vista home premium. Another PC with operating system Windows 7 Home premium and have set up to share one HP K80 Printer. Now problem I believe is the...

Instal only one printer driver on the PC it is physically connected to. Preferably the Windows 7 PC (Latest OS). Unshare the printer, remove drivers from other PC's., then reboot al PC,s and re-share the printer. The PC's sharing should allow the Windows 7 PC to use it's driver, although they may request a disc for basic information about the printer.

Can window 7 home premium run 7 year old hp k80?

A full feature software and driver package for Windows 7 is not available for your product. However, the Windows 7 operating system installed on your computer contains a basic driver solution for your product. With the basic driver, some of the advanced product features are not available. However, using the workaround procedures in this document, you can still print from a software program. You can also import and view images on a memory card, if your product has a memory card slot. Use the following instructions to install the basic driver in Windows 7, and then review the workaround procedures to use the available features for your product.
