Everyone knows about how it works and can suggest improvements on it.
The statuses of improvements are posted to a public wiki so you can decide if you want to take advantage of enhancements or bug fixes.
The package gives you a Word Processor, Spreadsheet, Power point Style Program, Database, and Drawing Program.

If you do not have Microsoft Office, or just Microsoft Word, may I suggest OpenOffice?

1) Anything generated on a computer with OpenOffice, can be used on a computer with MS Office.
2) Anything generated on a computer with MS Office, can be used on a computer with OpenOffice.

3) There is no learning curve. The user interface of OpenOffice is VERY similar to MS Office.
(OpenOffice Writer is just like MS Office - Word)

4) OpenOffice is FREE. This is because it is open source software.

[Need help in downloading, and installing OpenOffice, post back in a Comment ]

I have the manual downloaded.
In case you cannot download it, or open it; post back in a Comment as to what questions you have.

I'll come back in a Comment, (Or Comments), and answer them.

How to update openoffice

If you're using Windows or Mac, download the latest version and install it. It'll install over your older version.
If you're on Linux, your package manager will deal with that, do a system update.

Download free microsoft office 2007

I am not aware of anywhere that you can download Office 2007 for free...not legitimately, anyway.

If you need Office functionality but don't want to pay, try OpenOffice. It's an open-source, free work-alike to MS Office and quite suitable. This link will take you to the site to download the program package. I've been using OpenOffice exclusively for nearly six years and find it quite adequate. It replaces Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Calc. It will open/modify/save any Office file in MS Office format.

Hope that's helpful.

Where i can download ms.word 20007?

I suggest you download OpenOffice instead. (Unless you need MS Office 2007 to use in a school/college environment, of course. Where everyone is using MS Office 2007, and you are learning about MS Word)

1) Anything generated on a computer with MS Office, can be used on a computer with OpenOffice.

2) Anything generated on a computer with OpenOffice, can be used on a computer with MS Office.

3) There is no learning curve per se.
The userface of OpenOffice is VERY similar to MS Office.
OpenOffice example of Word is Writer.

Information about OpenOffice on Wikipedia,

OpenOffice homepage,

Screenshots of OpenOffice programs,

OpenOffice is free.
It's open source software.
I've used it for 2 years now. (I likes it!)
