as in stolen? No. This software is never given away for free uniess it is directly from the publisher. Not paying for it constitutes thieft and all sorts of troubles.

If you want a no fee product, that will not likely end up with you talking to the judte, try this:

No stealing involved, no problen using it ... etc. And it is generally compatible with all MS created documents.

Can ms works 6 files be opened with open office .org

Openoffice can read anything that MS office can make. Openoffice can also save files in MS office's .doc format. So, if you are sending documents to people that don't have Openofice, and that need to edit the documents you should send them in .doc/.xls/etcetera. If they don't need to edit the document it's best to use .pdf since that guarantees that they will see the document as you intended.

Please can i ask that you leave feedback and vote if this has been useful

I was told that the problem is the Hyperlinks. I assure you the problem is not the Hyperlinks, as the Hyperlinks are directed to open documents, photos and video clips stored in a folder, and, I have no...

The smart thing about this website is that the producers don't have a 'Contact us' link, so people who have been ripped off of money cannot contact them to ask for a refund because the problem that I'd wanted resolved was not resolved at all. They claimed to be experts and they weren't even able to solve a simple issue on why an OpenOffice Writer document saved in a portable USB hard drive does not open when the portable hard drive is connected on an alien computer with a different version of OpenOffice. The answer was simple. You had to either install or download the latest version of OpenOffice software, or you upgrade the existing earlier version (if you already do have an earlier version of OpenOffice installed in your computer) to a latest version. Alternatively, you can experiment to find it out for yourself. Write a document using say Version 1.1 or later, then save the document on a portable drive (flash drive). Next, plug the drive into a computer that has the latest version of OpenOffice (3.0 or 3.1) installed, and see if it opens. Now, try the opposite, write same document on a computer that has the latest version, save on a portable drive and plug and open the document in the computer that has version 1.1, see what happens. It would either open a blank page or it wont open any page at all. FixYa experts could have advised me of this, instead they had advised me that the problem is with the Hyperlinks, when it is not. I then decided to ask an IT guy from work and, after explaining my dilemma, the problem was resolved. Yes, but, how will I get my money back now when I can't even 'contact' FixYa?

The problem is simple: the hyperlinks are pointing to documents on your "original" computer, rather than pointing to documents on your portable disk-drive, or to documents on the USB memory-stick.

So, on another computer, the hyperlink still is pointing to a file (on your computer) that no longer is accessible. Thus, only a "blank" page is being displayed.

Fix the hyperlink(s), and everything will be fine.

Is it possible to convert a .wps format, to a .pages format?

when at school go to the file "save as" option and you should be able to save the wps document into a word format ( using the drop down menu at the bottom to select microsoft word document ) or something along those lines.

You should then be able to use that in pages and email it back to an email account ( that you have or use ) in a word format or maybe save it as a word document.

The other option would be to download and install open office ( ) and bring the documents from school to home as a word document as per above and use open office to do what you need to do and save it as a word document again and you should be able to do it that way.

Short of that speak with the IT person and see if they can use open office ( pages is a mac only piece of software from what im aware ) so dont think that will be an option at your school where as open office should be as its free.
