Yes I agree with the other comment. What you have to do now is reformat the unit to its original fat system file and reinstall the software. also Check the battery for its capacity if its below 3.7v, say it might read 2.5v then you'l have to rejuvenat the battery to its original capacity.

If this problem is connected to the other one you posted on this problem, then you probably deleted system files when you did the format, and now the player wont be recognized by the PC. that's the problem you have to solve. It's also possible that when you formatted the player by mistake, you formated it in the wrong format and now you can't finish the firmware install because of this. Check what kind of formatting it needs ( fat - ? 16/32), and format it again accordingly. Next time try adding a comment to the older post when it might be relevant. It can only help whoever reads this to better understand your problem. Good luck

I have this exact same problem to the letter. I've never formatted or deleted anything and my player is pretty new. I can't format now if i wanted because when its busy resetting over and over it won't show up even when connected to the computer. The only way to even get it to stop is to turn it off by holding the button to do a hard shutdown. The holding menu for 15 seconds doesnt do anything either.
