Vibration noise when filling

No unusual noise when draining. Noise starts when machine is filling. I removed the kick plate and if I hold my hand on the white plastic pump mechanism, the noise stops. When water is not being used, machine is as quiet as it's ever been. We had a kitchen drain issue the other night and the water backed up through the sink AND the dishwasher. We dried the tray underneath and thought everything was ok until we ran the machine. To pull out the machine, we had to turn off the water and disconnect it. Is the water pressure too high? Did I turn it on too high when I reconnected it? Is the pump dying? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

remove the kick plate below the door. youll see a white tray behind the kick plate. theres water in the tray thats activating a overflow switch. with a towel or 2 remove as much water from tray as possible. this will solve problem

you will almost certainly have a build up of water in the base. remove the water and retry. check to see if limit switch is not sticking or has possibly gone faulty.failing this, your board is faulty.

when facing the dw pull it out from under counter and on the left side there is a panel held on with 2 screws. take that off and under there are the float switches for the overflow. those switches is what causes the pump to run all the time but do nothing else.
