How do i turn on my bluetooth on my emachines pc

Click the "Start" button, then choose "Control Panel," "Network and Internet" then finally "Setup a Bluetooth enabled device."

Power on the Bluetooth Hardware you want to connect to the computer. You must have some sort of hardware to connect to the computer, in order to enable the Bluetooth connection.

Click "Add" and the computer searches for any Bluetooth hardware in the area. Once it detects the hardware, select it and click "Next."

Type in the passkey for the Bluetooth hardware (found in the device's user manual) and click "Next."

Install any drivers now that came with the Bluetooth hardware. (Insert the driver installation CD that comes with the Bluetooth hardware, wait for the the installation wizard to load onto the screen, accept the license agreement, then click "Next" for the installation name and location and select "Install" to install the drivers.)
Choose "Locate and install driver software" if there are provided drivers. If not, click "Don't show this message again for this device" and click "OK."

hope this helps

How to Load a Device Driver

<span>Instructional step<br /></span> <ol> <li> Enter the device command into the "config.sys" file for older Windows operating systems. These commands can define whether the device is loaded normally or if it is to be loaded into upper memory. The older operating systems gave lots of flexibility to the user as to how the drivers were loaded into memory and in what order they loaded.<br /> </li> <li> Right click on "My Computer" icon on the desktop. What are drivers?

Drivers are small software programs that help control devices attached to your computer because drivers enable your operating system and other software to communicate with various hardware devices, controllers, and other peripherals. In other words, drivers work as instruction manuals that provide software with the information with regard to controlling and communicating with different hardware devices.
Why do we need drivers? Drivers help computers identify and run installed hardware. A device driver is a code that an operating system uses to control disk devices, display adapters, input devices such as a mouse or trackball, modems, fax machines, printers, and other hardware. Without drivers, computers will not be able to distinguish between a sound card and a modem. Most computer devices and peripherals need drivers to run, which means that computer accessories, such as printers, scanners and digital cameras also need drivers to function. This is what all computer hardware and accessories that are purchased come with drivers stored in either a floppy disk or a CD. A computer automatically loads the drivers when these disks are inserted in their respective drives.
Like any other software, drivers are upgraded and updated by the manufacturers to remove bugs, add extra functionality to the hardware or to improve the performance of the device. Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face problems ranging from the relatively minor, such as having hardware that seems to perform poorly, to the more major problems such as hardware failure, hardware conflicts and complete system crashes.
Choosing and installing the correct device drivers for a given hardware is often a key component of computer system configuration.
Where you can get Drivers? Drivers can also be downloaded from the websites of hardware manufacturers. You can download the most recent or updated drivers for your hardware. You can do this by navigating through each manufacturer’s website and searching for the page that allows you to download drivers for their products. However, there are some software (ex. Driver Robot) that automatically scans your computer, looks for the drivers you need, and automatically installs them to your computer. These kinds of software are very easy to use and they can ensure that you will have the most up-to-date drivers for your devices.

I have 12 Drives All 12 Drives are found but when I burn a DVD The Some drivers fail and it is not the same ones all the time

Usually, a driver update is used as a solution to an issue with how Windows works with a piece of hardware.

Updating a driver can also enable new or updated features for the hardware.

To access Device Manager, use any of the following methods:
  • Click Start, click Run, and then type devmgmt.msc.
  • Right-click My Computer, click Manage, and then click Device Manager.
  • Right-click My Computer, click Properties, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
  • Type the following command at a command prompt: start devmgmt.msc

You can use Device Manager to change the way your hardware is configured, and to change the way your hardware interacts with your computer's programs. With Device Manager, you can update device drivers for hardware installed on your computer, modify hardware settings, and troubleshoot problems.

Device Manager enables you to:
  • Determine if the hardware on your computer is working properly.
  • Change hardware configuration settings.
  • Identify the device drivers that are loaded for each device and obtain information about each device driver.
  • Change advanced settings and properties for devices.
  • Install updated device drivers.
  • Disable, enable, and uninstall devices.
  • Reinstall the previous version of a driver.
  • Identify device conflicts and manually configure resource settings.
  • Print a summary of the devices that are installed on your computer.
If the device is experiencing a problem, the type of problem is displayed. You might also see a problem code and number and a suggested solution. If you call a support line, this number can be useful for determining and diagnosing the problem.

Error 39 canot load the driver

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Uninstall and reinstall the driver

Uninstall the driver from Device Manager, and then scan for new hardware to install the driver again.

You may be prompted to provide the path of the driver. Windows may have the driver built-in, or may still have the driver files installed from the last time that you set up the device. However, sometimes, it will open the New Hardware Wizard which may ask for the driver. If you are asked for the driver and you do not have it, you can try to download the latest driver from the hardware vendor’s Web site.
  1. On the device Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall. Follow the instructions.
  2. Restart your computer.
  3. Open Device Manager, click Action, and then click Scan for hardware changes. Follow the instructions.

A driver was loaded but Windows cannot find the device. This error occurs when Windows does not detect a non-Plug and Play device.

If the device was removed, uninstall the driver, install the device, and then click Scan for hardware changes to reinstall the driver. If the hardware was not removed, obtain a new or updated driver for the device.

If the device is a non-Plug and Play device, a newer version of the driver might be needed. To install non-Plug and Play devices, use the Add Hardware wizard. Click Performance and Maintenance on Control Panel, click System, and on the Hardware tab, click Add Hardware Wizard.

On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.
