3 leg dual series diode on heatsink to220 package was missing from board

Replaced with normal large axial diodes in series under board ,no heatsinks, to test .

It worked but horozontal width was over by about 1 inch and horizontal control would not work and pincushion control was limited but almost right..All other controls worked.

Diodes got so hot eventually the solder melts and they fell off the bottom of the board after about 1 hour.

Suspect diode was Fairchild ffpf60sa60ds to220f-3l.(stealth series)

It might be 8amp 600volt dual series diode to220 package.

I have never seen it and am battling to find an equivalent/substitute.

I have seen similar in computer switchmode power supplies

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks,

    Tom

Many low width problems are caused by a leaky diode in the yoke return circuit. Often in a to220 package on the heatsink around the flyback. Mike

What is fault code SA 16 DTC PO 4D900

Looks like could be caused by one of several sensors.
I did find thisP04D9 EGR feedback saturation This OBD monitor indicates if the burned air fraction error is saturated against a high or low limit. The logic for the monitor evaluates the time spent at saturation and compares the ratio between the time spent in a saturation mode and the total time engine running. A fault is reported whenever the ratio exceeds the fault limit.
P04D9 EGR system: Feedback control(Saturated Low)
Enable conditions: Engine torque 300 - 2500NM,Exhaust Mass Flow 0.1 kg/s, Ambient Air Temperature-8 -55C, Barometric Pressure 75 - 105 kpa, Coolant Temperature>65 C
Disable Conditions No active DTCs P0069 P046c P0234, P0299, P0401, and P0402

P0069 Intake manifold pressure sensor evaluation

P0299 Boost Pressure: Underboost, Comparison of actual boost pressure to modeled boost pressure

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

Width problem

A width issue specially if this is short of width on the screen can be due to many reasons:1. It can be a low +B which means the SMPS power supply has a lower output due to low Switching or a low value on the main capacitor. Check this out, measure the +B on the mains end and also the secondary side which will confirm.2. If the secondary +B is correct the fault can be with the sync circuit IC or the horizontal coil or even a fault with the deflection coil. A proper measurement of the voltage in this section is important.3. Check for weak capacitors and DRY soldering on the horizontal section , line output section.

What is the most likely problem if my 2006 Pontiac torrent is reading code p0107?

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P0107 has a generic description of "Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit Low".

I do not have the time or space to describe the entire function of the circuit or what it is used for, but the basic reason that this code sets is when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects that the MAP sensor voltage is less than 0.1 volt for more than 3 seconds. The monitor for this DTC runs continuously any time the ignition switch is in the ON or RUN position.

The actual REASON the voltage is low must be properly diagnosed. It could be from a defective MAP sensor. However, MAP sensor failures on these vehicles are pretty rare. A MORE LIKELY cause of this condition would be loose or corroded electrical connectors or wiring harness damage.

I have fixed several of these by repairing damage caused by rodents getting into the engine compartment and chewing on the wiring harnesses. Then, I have fixed at least as many by cleaning the connectors at the PCM and applying dielectric grease to the connector pins. I cannot remember the last time I had to replace the MAP sensor itself on ANY GM vehicle. I know that I have in the past, but it has been a long time ago.

At any rate, you will need a scan tool that can read live engine data so you can monitor the data for the MAP sensor and verify whether this is a current or intermittent fault. If it is current, it will be much easier to locate the fault. If it is intermittent, one must go through all of the procedures to try and reproduce the fault so it can be tracked down and repaired.

Blower is still running on the air conditioner, however no cold air is blowing

There are several things that can cause that condition. The MOST COMMON cause is that your system could be very low or out of freon. If this is the case, then diagnosis should beperformed in an effort to locate and repair the leak (or leaks) that caused your freon to get out.

This can also be caused by malfunctioning blend-air doors. Sometimes if they are just stuck, you can turn the temperature control all the way to the hottest setting and wait about 30 seconds. Then turn the temperature control to the coldest setting. If you start getting cold air, then the doors were just stuck.

Sometimes the A/C has lots of freon in the system but the compressor clutch will not engage and run the compressor. This can be caused by several things including a bad A/C control module, malfunctioning A/C request switch, a faulty evaporator temperature sensor, High or low pressure switch problems, or a number of oter things. In these cases, it is imperative that you use a scan tool to scan your climate control system for fault codes. Please note that this cannot be done with a "generic" OBD code reader.

Some models are equipped so that the A/C refrigerant pressure is monitored by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). These vehicles will set a generic OBD fault code in the PCM if the pressures are too high or too low.

When I turn on the Monitor, the pilot light goes on and I get a "No Signal" message, but nothing else. I have tried connecting to two computers, using all 3 input connectors, but the results are...

Good Day,
About your problem, it depends.
Mainly, it depends on several factors, like the brand name, what really is the cause of such errors, and the availability of parts for such monitor model, and lastly the personnel or technician that can perform such repair.
As like Television sets, there is a high risk of electrocution, therefore no user serviceable part or parts there, unless you are a certified technician.
Another thing is, there are many monitors, may it be LCD or CRT readily available, for lower prices now. Sometimes the cost of repairs equals the cost of a newer monitor. Plus, if you opt to have your old one repaired, you must know that it may have no guarantee that it can be used for long. One may never know when it will be having problems again, may it be this " No Signal" error or fault or another unknown fault.
Hope this helps you, and help you decide whether to have it repaired or just buy a new one.

Samsung sync master 753s crt monitor widh very low, EHT driver transister volt 78 .please tel the answer?

first of all check weather the width is getting varied from the front panel menu. if there is a vary in width but not full, then need to vary in factory level settings with the help of JIG software provided by Sansung with KIT. The KIT is connected between the CPU and the Monitor.

IF there is no change in width with the front menu, then chage the high voltage PF capacitors at Width section and EHT section(near output transistor (near LOT)).

There is a line my display. how i can remove it.

Normally a single pixel-width line on an LCD monitor is indication that the panel itself is faulty and cannot be repaired. However, it could be a fault with the T-Control PCB or the flex cables to the panel itself, but very unlikely.
