Re: low width

Many low width problems are caused by a leaky diode in the yoke return circuit. Often in a to220 package on the heatsink around the flyback. Mike

No power to my Vizio TV

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Take it to a repair shop.

Width problem

A width issue specially if this is short of width on the screen can be due to many reasons:1. It can be a low +B which means the SMPS power supply has a lower output due to low Switching or a low value on the main capacitor. Check this out, measure the +B on the mains end and also the secondary side which will confirm.2. If the secondary +B is correct the fault can be with the sync circuit IC or the horizontal coil or even a fault with the deflection coil. A proper measurement of the voltage in this section is important.3. Check for weak capacitors and DRY soldering on the horizontal section , line output section.

I have a black line all across the width of my screen about an inch down from the top. Rest os screen is fine. Can it be fixed anyone?

The screen is failing, assume that the VGA cable is ok (try testing with anotherone), the problems lies in the monitor circuitry. Unlike the old CRT monitors, there is often very little that can be done, you could take it to a tV repair shop for testing but my feeling is the monitor is on its way out

Samsung sync master 753s crt monitor widh very low, EHT driver transister volt 78 .please tel the answer?

first of all check weather the width is getting varied from the front panel menu. if there is a vary in width but not full, then need to vary in factory level settings with the help of JIG software provided by Sansung with KIT. The KIT is connected between the CPU and the Monitor.

IF there is no change in width with the front menu, then chage the high voltage PF capacitors at Width section and EHT section(near output transistor (near LOT)).

Most likely caused by defective capacitors in the power supply. This is quite a common problem.
If you have some electronics skills, you may be able to change them yourself - look for bloated, otherwise deformed or leaking capacitors, typically in the 470u - 1000u / 25V range. Replace them with 105°C rated low ESR types of the same value and voltage rating.
If you don't know what I am talking about, bring it in for repair (if it's still worth it...).

Task bar shrinking in width working after sometime. task bar width slowly decreases while working. task bar items appear distorted

There are several high voltage capacitors in this circuit. One or more is beginning to fail. These caps need to be tested with an ESR meter to determine their status. Take the monitor to a pro or visit my site

There is a line my display. how i can remove it.

Normally a single pixel-width line on an LCD monitor is indication that the panel itself is faulty and cannot be repaired. However, it could be a fault with the T-Control PCB or the flex cables to the panel itself, but very unlikely.

My monitor goes black for about 2 seconds then goes back to pict.

Sounds asif the Xenon tubes that backlight the LCD are losing power. Probable cause, a power invertor or PSU fault.
It can be repaired by a hardware specialist, but best written off.
The cost of repair will be better spent on a new monitor.

No Power or responce when turned on

This is a Common problem MOST if NOT ALL, problems like this with this type of fault it is invairably a problem with the Power Supply, in the PSU Electrolytic capacitors dry out and often cause this type of exact problem... It is a relitively simple fix, by replacing the caps with new ones... Any good shop should be able to fix for a modest fee.. OR if ya know anyone handy with a soldering iron maybe they could do it for you there are generally about 4 - 6 to replace... in the PS section, just do them all to be safe.. Generally most LCD's problems can be traced back to a bad PSU... almost 80% of the "problems" I find in my shop are indeed this.
