If you have a wiring harness, its alot eaiser to hook up cuz all you do is match the colors there all color coated, if interested go to this website---- http://us.nine.ebid.net/perl/auction.cgi?auction=1220395592-29367-2711&mo=auction&from=froogle Or go to any electronics store, bestbuy or circuit city all carries wirring harness's you could have it hooked up less then 5 mins and you wount blow a fuse

OK, first I recommend you purchase a wiring harness specific to the vehicle. The wiring harness is equiped with standardized wire colors to match aftermarket radios. Then the harness plug situates the wires in the correct pattern to match the vehicle. All you do then is plug it in. You will probably need a trim panel too. I recommend you check out www.crutchfield.com, they have the harnesses, dash kits, and instructions. Hope this helps.

If you are installing a radio, I recommend you purchase a wiring harness specific to the vehicle you are installing into. You can find them at places like www.crutchfield.com . If you are just looking for a wiring diagram to hardwire the radio, try www.mobileinformationlabs.com

Did you know there is a fuse on the back of the radio and one on the amp? Have you checked them? If the radio is working and no ssound it could be the radio, speakers or wiring. In your case it sounds like either the radio or speakers.

No power

Red is power (+12v)
Black is negative
Orange or Yellow is memory
Blue is for amplifer turn on signal
Then there will be 4 or 6 pairs wires with the same color which are the speaker wires. The solid colors are positive, the solid with a black stripe are negative.
You can get a cable harness for your car from Walmart and then all you need to do is match all the wires color for color to each other from the cable harness to the new stereo wires with **** splices and a crimping tool which you can also get from Walmart and that's it. Then all you need to do is connect the two old connector from the old car stereo to the new cable harness connector which is made for your car and there you go. After that you may need a dash kit which you can also get at Walmart..Hope this helps.

Car 6-9s soud crappy with new deck

what do you mean? distorted? low? echoey? i know you checked the wiring but try one more time. did you use a wire harness? remember the speaker wires out the radio with the black line on them is the negative side. make sure whatever color wire from the stereo that you plug to the car factory wire to, and know if it was positive or negative when you go plug it on the speaker.
