Question about Gateway Computers & Internet
Okay, well are you using your own network, or free lancing for wireless connections? maybe the network u have at home is down... is it the office, then you should call the IT pro to get you back online... Is it your network card, go start, run, type cmd. type ipconfig/release, ipconfig/renew. then check if you network is working. while in cmd, check for "ipv4 address:" if it say 169.x.x.x you cannot go online with that and you connection is down.
go to device manager, find your network card, right click on it, and unistall the driver. stay in device manager, go up the tree, right click on your computer's name, click scan, your hardware will show up again with a "?" mark sign on top of it. if it does not install by itself, which it should, you need to find the driver. if it is installed, then try to do my first step again. cmd, ipconfig/release, ipconfig/renew. if that does not help, let me know.
