Rival warrants this product to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for one (1) year from date of original purchase. If you have a claim under this warranty please follow these procedures

hi, say just an idea? did you pay for it with a credit card or the like, if you did, and you can remember the day and time, more or less, then this is your "Proof of purchase' go back to the store, explain your predicament, indicate what I have said, about the time-code, and ask for a replacement. I am sure they will accommodate you. use honey,as always, and only resort to vinegar if they kick up a fuss. but I am sure that it will be fine,it has only been a month. Also maybe they have cameras, this too, can be your "Proof of purchase" I have heard of this being used many times.

i called 1800-798-7398 mine is the 5liter fryer, and he needed the model number and date number on the back of the unit *difficult to see/ black plastic, but once I told him what this info was, service tech advised me to push a reset. It looks like a hole where a screw would be .. but I did as he suggested took a pen, pushed it in the hole * i could see no screw in the hole.. and when I plugged it in, turned it on, it started to heat up right away! Hope this is helpful for you! Call the number, Mine was a gift too, I had no receipt. He also wanted to know where it may have been purchased. I knew mine was from canadian tire. All is good. Call the number with model, and age date on hand.. and i am sure they will help you out too. They gave me an account number for refrence if i have any further questions/probs.

Stopped heating


I have the same problem. I read in the manual that there is a reset switch at the back of the control panel, but I can't find the switch.

Hi ., how many month the warranty of the deep fryer ,mostly small machine maybe 6 month it depends , if not covered with warranty may go the fixya repair shop recommended by fixya you just enter zip then go.

Model 1068 fryer - euro-pro


You have to make sure that the control panel slide rails are correctly inserted.
I was very frustrated, and considering I did not have the packaging/receipt, was ready to toss. My Wife slid the control panel/elements out off the pan, then back in, voila!
