Kenmore gas dryer runs but won't heat up

The dryer runs well, but won't heat up. I changed the ignitor today and cleaned all the dust and lint from the inside, but still does not heat. What might be the problem.

I have a Kenmore gas dryer that the timer will not move and the ignitor will not glow. Both happened at the same time. What might this be

if you have the timer on auto it will not advance without heat, when the heat shuts off the timer moves, you could have popped the thermal fuse located on the blower wheel housing,if the lint filter is on top you have to take the vent line off and remove the back panel to get at it,if the filter is inside then the thermal fuse is in front to the right of the lint filter, this is mostly caused by a blocked dryer that needs a clean out, take off the duct that the lint filter slides down into and clean it out,vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is,and clean out the vent line,if it's a long run blow it out wiyh a leaf blower, you should do this once a year so the dryer runs correctly and clothes will dry faster,if it's not the fuse check the ignitor the sensor and the gas coils, when the dryer cools down and you turn it on and if there is heat for like the first 10 or 15 minutes then no heat it's the gas coils that are bad, hope this helps you

Have a Kenmore Gas Dryer 80 series, model # 110.78842990 that runs but has no heat, have torn everyting apart and cleaned out all the lint, but still no heat.

Burner not lighting/staying lit. Most likely the ignitor.
