My samsung s630 says the memory is full. I cleared photos from the sd card and internal memory, but still can only take four pictures in the lowest quality and size setting.

Memory card might gone bad but can do this following troubleshooting step. Formatting a memory ** This is used for formatting the memory. If you run [Format] on the memory, all images, including the protected images, will be deleted. Be sure to download important images to your PC before formatting the memory. Sub menus
[No] : The memory will not be formatted. Press the menu button three times and the menu display will disappear.
[Yes] : A [Processing!] message appears and the memory will be formatted. If you run FORMAT in Play mode, a [No Image!] message will appear. 1d36119.png
Be sure to run [Format] on the following types of memory card.
- A new memory card, or an unformatted memory card
- A memory card that has a file this camera can't recognize or one that has been taken from another camera.
- Always format the memory card using this camera. If you insert a memory card that has been formatted using other cameras, memory card readers, or PCs, you will get a [Card Error!] message. ** There might be bad sectors on your memory card.

I don't konow how to upload pictures

Your best bet by far is to go buy a card reader for $15-20 (less on sale). Plug the card reader into your computer's USB port. Next remove the memory card from your camera and place it into the card reader. If you have Picasa3 (free from Google) it will upload all your pictures with only a few clicks, OR you can select which images to move and which to leave behind.
It is unfortunate that transfering images directly by wire from the camera to the computer is the most problematic area of digital cameras. It just doesn't work well and has even caused ruined memory cards on some. The card reader solves all those problems and you will love Picasa3 right away.
Good luck.

Images disappear

You may have inadvertently formatted your card (or someone else did) or switched the camera's memory to the internal memory.

CANNOT FIND IMAGES ON MY CAMERA.

Hey, Matt here. This could be a setting on the camera- have you put the card into a computer to find the images?? If you are just cheacking it on the camera there is folders that you can set up in the menu to store different photos. you should be able to go through the folders on the camera: when you are in playback section go to the menu and chane the folder. This is sometimes set on auto to create new folders on different days or months etc. It could also be a faulty card. but if you were able to view thm before then I doubt this would be the source of your problem. The only other thing I could think it would be is the firmware on the camera which you could reload via the canon website and connect the camera to your PC. Hope this helps, Good luck, Matt. I still nees help on my camera

I suspect that the pictures may be there, but in a different folder on the memory card. If you open your memory card on your computer, you will see several folders. Try opening each folder to see if any images are there. I would also suggest trying another memory card (a new one), take a picture, then upload it to your image software program. Give that a try and let me know if you find your images. Hope that helps!

Dowloading images to my PC

The images are still on the card I would imagine Try these things. 1 if you are downloading via camera software as supplied on a disk Remove the software. 2.Try then to up load - Windows will find the camera all by its self. 3. To see in the images are on the computer Go to Start/Find/ and in the field type *.jpg This will locate every jpeg file on the computer/and Camera no matter where they are. 4.If you have no images showing on the card Go to www.konvar.com download PC Inspector This l;ittle program will recover any 'lost' images on the card or on your drive,

How Do I Make An MPEG Recording?

You can record video with audio onto the Memory Card. Follow the instructions below. Recording moving pictures onto a MEMORY CARD 1. Insert a Memory Card into the slot on the camcorder. 2. Set the mode switch to MEMORY CARD position. 3. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode. 4. Press the START/STOP button, the images are recorded on the MEMORY CARD in MPEG4. * You can record 10 ~ 20 seconds continuously. * You can record a still image on the Memory Card by pressing the Photo button instead of the START/STOP button. 5. Press the START/STOP button to stop the recording. Notes: * Moving images that you recorded are saved in *.asf file format on the Memory Card. * The moving picture images on a Memory Card are smaller size and lower definition than those on a Tape. * The sound is recorded in mono. * The following functions cannot be operated in M.REC Mode. - DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer), Digital Zoom, Fade, Program AE, Digital Special Effect, Slow Shutter. * Don't insert or eject a tape during Memory card recording as it may record noise. * Don't eject the Memory Card during recording as it may break the data on the Memory Card or the Memory Card itself.
