Since I just solved this for someone else, here's the link to the manual. Under HOME and WIRELESS tabs, your info is displayed. This is for a rev C manual. If you need an A or B manual, just tab back and get it, but the procedure should be the same. Look at the FAQ items at the bottom for SSID.

Lost network when replacing wifi router

To connect your computer to a wireless router, you click the Refresh network list, then Choose your wireless network and then click Connect to your secured Wireless Network, it will asks for a Network Key before allowing you to connect into your wireless network. This Network Key is either the WEP, or WPA or WPA2 Encryption key that is used to configure the Wireless Router. The Passphrase is an alternate way to setup the Encryption key.
When you are requested for a Network Key, you can just enter the Passphrase that was used to configure the Encryption key in the wireless router. http://www.fixya.com/support/r5270415-network_password_network_address For information on securing your wireless network, configuring the wireless router and configuring the wireless card in the laptop/computer, please click on this link and follow my instructions :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

My securty lock is on and i lost wireless netwert

Connect your computer to the router using an ethernet cable to allow you to access the setup page of the router and get the wireless key. Or if you already have another computer connected to the router then you may use that.

Open a browser and type 192.168.2.1 in the address bar. Then enter. By default the password field is empty.

Once in the setup page, go to Wireless -> Security. Take note of the Pre-shared key (for WPA security) or WEP key.

On your wireless computer, type the Security key to connect wirelessly.

I hope this helps!

Lost my key number

Connect your computer to the router via Ethernet cable. In that way, you will see the WEP key assigned in your Router's GUI/page. You will see it in the Wireless section of the Router. Once you get the WEP key, enter it to the new PC to gain access to the Wireless connection.

Can't get wireless connection on new computer.

This key is set by you in the router setup. It is what makes your router secure, so your neighbors don't use your bandwidth.

Open IE and go to 192.168.1.1 or if that doesn't work try 192.168.0.1

Log in with your ID and PW. In those screens you will find the WEP key you set.

Updated firmware now connected access internet on other computer wireless

It must be something to do with your firewall not allowing a connection, it should have to be allowed as it thinks the router is trying to attack your pc. You may find it connects if you dissable your firewall programme, if so you know it's not a router problem
