I have a sabre LCT47PBKA. I need the code for Direct TV remote please. I called Direct TV and the codes they gave me did not work

Return the universal remote those codes that provided in the owner manual don't work,it will impossible find a codes that will work.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote.

called funai, gave me number to call emerson. emerson said they give codes to direct tv., call them. called direct tv. said they have 12 codes, they would give me codes, the rest is up to me. none of the 12 codes worked. stuck with using 2 remotes. bummer!!!!!!!!!!!!

as soon as u bought the universal remote it came with a paper that say a bunch of codes find ur tv model go to set up look were u can put in the code and follow the code exact

I think you mean Hughs when you're referring to your direct Tv remote? And you want that remote to turn on/off your Sylvania Tv, right?
I'd need to know the Hughs model number on the remote to know if it's a four or five digit code requirement. But here's a site that might help. http://www.remotecodelist.com/remotes/
Scroll down to Hughs and that link should take you to the DTV site where they have a wealth of info regarding codes. Find your model number remote control and you should have a list of possible codes to try.
If all this doesn't work let me know and I'll research sme more.
