Question about Washing Machines
We have had the laundry room soaked with water three times recently and finally tracked down the problem to water coming out the front of the push in soap tray. We witnessed it happening today (during the initial filling) and pushed the tray back in, which stopped it.
To our dismay, it must have leaked again during the rinse cycle, because the floor was soaked.
Has anybody else had this happen? We are contacting Maytag for help.
You can try pulling the soap tray out and clean all the old detergent and softener in there. they do clogged the outlet of water for the water to overflow.
check also where the soap box is inserted. it would also have lots of dirt.
