I would recommend getting and installing a better quality basket strainer that has a thicker "lip". Also, you need a good amount of plumbers putty underneath the lip of the basket strainer as well. Try not to use silicone to seal under it, it doesn't stand up to use. I would purchase a solid brass strainer rather than the thin stainless ones. They are more expensive, but are worth the money.

sometimes hard to see. Might be on the underside of the spout or on the back side of the part of the spout that it connected to the faucet. OR just compare to pictures on American Standard website

just pull straight up,wiggle back and forth,the o-rings are holding it on .

at the spout near the base is an echeion ring. turn this counterclock wise then pull up ring to expose the neck,pull spout straight up.this echeion cap holds on the spout to the base there are plastic parts inside so be careful when pulling apart.

Called the manufacturer (American Standard). They couldn't identify the number stamped on the sink, but they made a color recommendation based on the apparent date of manufacture. The color name is Daydream, which is a light blue, almost white.
