When pressing print the paper attempts to feed then stops. When paper is pulled back out it is bent slightle in the lower right corner of the paper as looking at the printer from the front. From what I have been reading about this problem could be (Sheet feeder damage). I can't see anything jammed in this area.
Press down and hold the "On/Off" button, which is located on the printer's operator panel, for one second. Wait 15 seconds and then tap the button again. Attempt to print or scan a document.
Check the paper feed tray on the front end of the Canon to see if there is any paper visibly stuck inside the printer. Open the printer cover by gripping the front edge of the printer and lifting upwards.
Grab the edge of the jammed paper and gently pull towards you to remove the paper from the paper feeder. Unplug the Canon's power cable and USB cable, and then turn the printer around.
Pull off the rear plastic cover tab and check if there is any visible paper jam. Grab the edge of the paper and gently pull toward you until the paper is removed.
Push the rear plastic cover tab back into place, and reconnect the power cable and USB cable. Attempt to print or scan another document to see if the error is resolved.
Lift open the printer's cover again and wait for the ink carriage to slide into view. Press the "Push" button on the front of the first ink tank. Pull the tank out and then push it back into place to ensure it is properly seated
Repeat the process with the other three ink tanks, and then close the printer's cover. Power the printer off and then back on again

Me too. Probably a roller problem but haven't attempted to fix yet.
My Epson CX4200 has NEVER fed paper properly for more than 1 or 2 sheets. There doesn't seem to be any way to "push" the paper into the feed mechanism. So the mechanism attempts to feed 1 sheet, but there isn't any paper anywhere close. I gave up trying to make this crappy printer work, and eventually bought another one (HP brand). This CX4200 DOES have an excellent scanner in it, and I do use that all the time. But if anybody has ever figured out a way to get the paper to feed properly, kindly let me know how. Thank you.
wat do i do to open up the printer?
