We have multiple wireless laptops, wifi enabled phones and wifi enabled game system, my old router seems to be going out so I need to get a new one. Any suggestions on what would be good for a home with multiple wifi items

go to control panel, click on internet connection click on establish find the wifi system in use then enter the code for the wifi system and it connects

It could be your wireless router also. In some cases, the router's signal isn't strong enough to reach to multiple rooms.

If your photo battery seems fine, then I would begin troubleshooting the wireless router.

If your laptop does not have a wireless card built into the computer then yes I would go and buy a usb wifi adapter because you cant get wifi if you dont get one.

On the right bottom corner of your screen, you should see a message/icon about wireless networks.

Select the icon and you should see a list of wireless networks. Select your network, add your password (if you set up a password) and you should be connected.

Open your browser.
