-   Weather I access the .avi files (Mass Storage mode) directly on the camcorder or copy them to harddrive, when played back, there is sound but no picture. When using CyberLink PowerDirect, it attempts to load the .avi, the software indicates an error. DV mode appears to do nothing, the PC does not detect the camcorder in DV mode. PC Mode will however take a picture. Is there a driver needed? I have had the camcorder for quite a long time, and if there was a driver CD that came with the camcorder, I can't find it. My PC harddrive crash and had to replace it, losing several device drivers in the process. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.-   wagnerwb

I am considering buying the MDV Silver Flash Memory Camcorder. How are people typically storing their video? It seem like the camcorders will hold about an hour of video. What if you take it on vacation or something? Is an hour all you get until you can upload it to a computer?
