Question about ASUS M2N-E SLI (M2N-E SLI GREEN) Motherboard
Setting up was no proble but now itwill not connect to the internet
Have you checked your ethernet connection device? Is there a green light blinking from where you plug the cable into your computer? Do your have an on board device or an ethernet/wireless card?
What error messages (if any) are you getting?
Go to device manager in system properties ( logo + pause/ general tab/ hardware/ device manager) a quick short cut, and check to see if your have yellow exclamation mark or red x in "network adapters". Make sure your device is listed. If you see it right click/ properties/ under device status see if it is enabled and working. If not click to enable it.
Maybe a little more info on your problem like is there an icon on taskbar (bottom right by the time) that shows a monitor icon with/without an X on it?
You might have to run the internet connection wizard. If all fails try opening the case & removing the card (if thats what you use) and re seating it. Turn pc on & look for a "found new hardware" balloon on bottom right/ follow instructionsl.
Sorry for all the questions but this should leave you with 1 or 2 other options anyway.
