Question about Princeton Digital VL2018W Monitor
David, Did you find out which are the two 1000uF capacitors? I made the same
error and removed all five capacitors. I would be grateful for any help that you can give.
There is a group of three transistors by the two power transistors on the bottom right of the card with the components facing you.
The two 1000uF caps are on the two that are connected to the two power transistors, with a 470uF cap in between them.
The fix worked perfectly. Only problem I had was having to switch to a vga cable because of dots... once I switched the red dots disappeared...
Amazing $7 worth of caps from radio shack saved, what about $200 monitor new?
