I connected USB Cable to my computer and Digital Voice Recorder, double clicked on My Computer, and clicked "set up". The setup.exe icon appeared, but the install Shield Wizard won't install. When I click on the icon the hour glass shows up for about 10 seconds, then it just stops. The software either did not install, or it was not working properly, I can't tell which. I went to the RCA web site listed in the instructions,
www.rcaaudiovideo.com and looked up this exact model # RP5120 recorder, clicked on "download" just like the instructions said to do. The website downloaded a ZIP file to my computer with the same filename DvR setup.exe . When I "unzipped" that file there was an error message that said "File empty", so that software didn't install either. How can I get the right RCA software to install on my XP windows computer? Is there another web site that has the right software version for XP computers?
