do you  mean the round disk at the bottom right of the outside or the hoses at the back of the machine?  help!

  • heritag Oct 30, 2008

Is it the round flat disk thing on the bottom right of the front of the machine, or do you mean the hoses at the back of the machine on the top?  E4 appears on my machine and it will not rinse or drain. thanks!

Thank you, thank you, thank you just saved me $$$'s in a service call. Rebeab, The while cover you take off by rotating about 10 degrees counterclockwise then pry off . The black round cover you rotate counterclockwise till it seems to spin in place then pull it out. You might need pliers to get a grip. Under that is a white divert-er thingie (technical term). Pull that out with pliers and then clean out the obstructions (keep all the money you find). If you have a shop vac have it handy for you WILL have a flood.

Washing machine keeps stopping

E20 not draining error. Since you checked filter at bottom right corner for blockages, then maybe the drain pump has gone faulty or something jammed in it. You can also check the drain hose for kinks or blockages. You can try blowing out any cloggs in the machine with an air compressor.

Please let me know if you need any further help, otherwise good luck on fixing your problem.

Haier HLP23E - When I press start, the water flows in and out at the same time.

Hi Lina, accordin to the Haier website, E4 stands for "water inlet problem. Water can not inlet or cannot reach the selected level in a proper time.". Unless the ingoing water pressure is really low, I think you need to service the machine. Anyway, hope this helps!

I have a heller awm 600 washing machine. the issue is that whenever i want to use it, it would keep giving me E4 error and wont drain. looked thru the manual and it says the drain pipe should not be more...

This is due to the fact that the drain pump will not be able to drain when the draain outlet pipe is kept higher. So try to TILT the washer a bit to allow the water to the drain side and place the machine a bit higher on a short pedestal so that the water flows easily through the drain outlet .

Error message: E4....What means? I can't open the

Hello, Welcome to FixYa.
Hopefully the info below will supply you with the assistance to get the door open for now at least...and a little more with some luck. The E4 error indicates a door kock error, however the door typically locks as a result of the unit failing to drain, so....
1. **Unplug the washer from the wall or turn off the breaker before attempting any repairs**

2. Locate the round door on the front of the machine (about 6" in diameter, lower right corner)try a drill bit or small screwdriver that fits in the hole in the round door.

3. Insert the bit into the hole in the door. It will push in a tab, it doesn't take much force. Rotate the hole (clockwise) to 6'oclock and it should come free. (the edges are very sharp so be careful).

4. Once the door is out of the way you'll be greeted by a 3-4" plastic cap with wings so you can unscrew it by hand or with the aid of pliers.

**NOTE - you should also see a ring attached, if you pull this the door should unlatch, but getting the water out first if present is usually a good plan

Once the door is open, unplug the washer for 20minutes or so and then plug it in again, to see if the control "resets". Good luck !

Let me know if you require further assistance and if not and this solves your problem, please rate the solution I provided accordingly. (Sorry about the post, I'm still adapting to this "htc" windows 7 phone after having an iphone for 2years...very tricky lol )
Thank you for choosing to "FixYa".

The washeer machine give a error code E4

A code of E4 means that there is to much suds or the pump is blocked. use less detergent and get detergent with he in the title. turn to off and try to restart the drain to correct problem.

You will find the code in the manual. If you do not have let me know I will send you one here.

Good Luck And Please Rate FixYa!

Bosh Nexxt still leaks after replacing cover

When you have water in the drain clearout I would suggest putting a hose from a wetvac up against as you turn the black plug counter-clockwise. This pulls all the water as it drains out.

I noticed that there is an o-ring seal, make sure it is not torn before reinstalling. Also make sure the center white plug goes in properly as the arrows point out. Then just make sure you line the threads out properly so the threads don't cross thread. This will mean you don't get a proper seal.

I just performed the cleanout and followed the steps above, and it worked perfectly. I would bet it is the o-ring that is torn (that should be fairly cheap to buy).

Cheers
Bob

Washer wont rinse

we had the same problem with ours....nd means not draining and that means that there is something, probably coins stuck in your drain hose. pull the drain hose out and check it for change and make sure something isn't stuck.

Brand new washer, E4 Error

OK this should not happen. It might be that the connectors to the watervalve is lose. E4 is a sign that the watervalves are closed. You should contact the store you bought it from and have them give you a replacement. Do not open it for now as it will void your warranty. You know it is not the pressure as the other never had this problem
This however is the link for all the parts you need. or might need.

Have a good one and good luck changing this one out and please dont take no for an answer
