Do you still have access to your Windows? If yes Click Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.... and restore your system to an earlier date, or in msconfig at General Tab, Select Normal Startup as shown in below Pic.You may even find system restore there as well.

If you really do not have anymore access to Windows, use your Installation CD, Boot from CD, and continue until it reaches to the stage where it asks to install Windows XP (I assume you have Windows XP) and select the option of repair existing Windows. Doing so will get you back your Windows as it was before the mess.....!

Is it Win XP?
Boot the PC and press F8 while the PC is coming up. Once you see a menu, select "Last Known configuration" This will put it back to normal.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Did you try system restore? Thats the only thing I can think of that would help you get back your program.
Go to Run on the Start Menu, then type MSCONFIG and Launch System Restore...

Also here is a free Register cleaner you might also try.

Why is my dell computer so slow?

Use CCleaner, Auslogic Disk Defrag, install Spyware Terminator and run full scan, remove programs from startup. You can also use "msconfig" (start/type it in, choose) to really lower the amount of processes and programs running but I wouldn't recommend unless you know what's vital plus check the box to remove all Windows processes from list before you start disabling processes.

Slow to boot (10-15 minutes)

A couple of different fixes you can try.

Go into Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs. Remove/Uninstall any unused or unknown programs.
Start | Run | Msconfig - On General tab, select "Selective Startup" and uncheck "Load startup items". Reboot computer. If computer boots faster (and daughter's profile works), then go back into Msconfig, select "Normal Startup", go to Startup tab, and start unchecking programs to slim down what loads when computer starts. Note: NONE of the programs in Startup tab are NEEDED for windows to run, but some of your applications may need them.

I'd also recommend getting a good Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware package to make sure no viruses or trojan horses are on it.

Try this:
- Click on Start and select run
- Type in msconfig and click ok
- Click on Start up
- And you may uncheck the unnecessary programs
- and Apply it.

Use system restore to put your PC back to its original state before you installed it.

You may need to update the driver for your video card. Also on the issue of speed, here is a tutorial on how to use MSCONFIG, a utility that comes with windows to manage your startup programs.

ERecovery error

Acer....gotta love it...
You aren't alone when looking for help with Acer's framework technology.
What you're going to want to do is use the Msconfig utility to work around this problem. To start msconfig click on Start, select Run, type msconfig in the Run text box then click on OK.

Next select the Startup tab when msconfig opens. Look in the list for eRecovery Service and uncheck it. Select Apply and then OK when done. It will pop a message that a restart is require for changes to take effect. Restart the system.

From what I've read, this may or may not completely fix the INT15 Error eRecovery must be terminated error message. If it doesn't, go back into msconfig/startup and look to see if PCMService has been unchecked. If so, recheck it, select apply and OK, then reboot.

This was all the info I could dig up so I'm not 100% sure if the suggestions are guaranteed to work.

Good luck and let us know if it helped
