If you don't tell us what model of compap computer you have or the motherboard model we will never be able to tell you what 3 beeps means.

as a doctor, one needs more details to solve patients ills. The more details the better. (smile)

What is your computer doing that you think it is the graphics card? What is the graphics card? Did you do anything different before the problem started?

If your problem is find out your graphics card, once you connected the cable from monitor to system unit that is now your graphic card.

My problem is the graphics and pci, i need a driver, i reformat today and now i noticed that the cd driver was lost, my mother board is ASUS P5SD2-VM. pls help me.tanx

You can see all the list of drivers found for this Motherboard by clicking here.

You would need to select the appropriate OS (Operating System) first before it can give you the list of drivers that you need to download. (Example: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7)

If you have Windows 7, please download the video driver for Windows Vista.

If you are having trouble with the Global(DLM) link choose instead the Global or China links.

Hope this helps!

I dont have any picher in the screen

If the graphics are on the board and dosnt seem to be working take it to your local Pc store and ask them to test it with a expansion slot grahics card, the onboard graphics may have been disabled in the bios.

When I turn on my computer no post or screen to work with why?

it sounds to me that the graphics card is faulty, with graphics cards they generally dont need an initial driver for them to work, they just use the minimal grahics they have so that you can boot your pc, once loaded up with windows then the grahics drivers get installed, in my veiw your best bet is to get hold of another graphics card.

Stupid anoying grahics card problem

Ok, try this.  Uninstall the PCI gfx card drivers and remove the card.  Reboot.  Go to your Device Manager and disable the integrated card, do not worry about uninstalling it. Shutdown the PC, and then insert the PCI card. Also, make sure in the BIOS that you have integrated gfx disabled.  Then if you can boot with monitor plugged into the PCI card you should be able to reinstall the drivers for that card, and everything should work.  If not, please let me know.  Also, if you downloaded the drivers for the PCI card, try downloading them again as it's possible your download was corrupted.

Graphic card

laptops do not support internal graphics upgrade, you can try to max out the memory to give the system a boost or you could go out and buy an external grahics acceleator, these are not cheap though
